Pakistan's audacity continues, drone intercepted in Jaisalmer, high alert in Rajasthan

As of the terrorist attack at Pahalgam, after the "Operation Sindoor" by the Indian Army, Rajasthan Police has tightened border security near Pakistan. Pakistan again attempted to attack Jammu using a missile at 8:45 on Thursday evening. Black out has subsequently been implemented from Jammu to Rajasthan after that. According to news agency ANI, Pakistani drone was intercepted by Indian Air Defense in Jaisalmer. Blackouts have been done in all the districts near the Rajasthan border. Sound of explosions can be heard, and flashing lights can be seen in the sky.

Giving information, Barmer DM said that the situation in Rajasthan is normal, there is no movement of any kind. Due to the apprehension of attack, the administration is already taking precautions. In this regard, Rajasthan Police has banned all types of leaves of all its policemen with immediate effect. Leave of paramedical staff has been cancelled.

Officials said on Thursday that as a precaution, government and private schools have been closed in Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer districts. All colleges in Jodhpur have also been ordered to remain closed. Apart from this, as a precaution, flight operations have been suspended till May 10 at Bikaner, Ajmer's Kishangarh and Jodhpur airports. This decision was taken after Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma took stock of the situation in the border areas. According to sources, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and State Police Chief UR Sahu held a review meeting with divisional commissioners, collectors and Inspector Generals of Police and Superintendents of Police and directed them to be present in their headquarters.
