The company's founder Deepak Bhardwaj claimed that all five hundred drones would be made available by the end of this year. The remaining four hundred drones have also been contracted with other companies. India plans to achieve self-sufficiency in the field of fertilizers by increasing the use of liquid fertilizers in place of traditional fertilizers in a few years. The report of the Ministry of Fertilizers states that only three plants for making liquid fertilizers are currently operational in the country.
With their help, the production capacity of about 23 crore bottles of liquid urea and liquid DAP has been achieved every year. In the next two years, this capacity will almost double and more than 440 million bottles of Nano Urea and DAP fertilizers will be produced, for which a large number of drones will be required. Keeping in view future needs, the number of training centers for agricultural drones is being increased.
Piloting training is imparted through the Digital Sky Platform under the Drone Rules of the DGCA. At present only 60 training centers are functioning in different states of the country. Along with the number of drones, the number of training centers is also being increased. Employment is also increasing through this. Till a year ago, the number of trained pilots in the country was only 346, which has increased to cross 5000.
