The last match of Group A for the T20 World Cup 2026 is being played between India and the Netherlands on Wednesday, the 18th of February. Team India has already qualified for the Super 8s as they have won three consecutive matches, while the Netherlands have been eliminated from the tournament. In the match, the Indian captain, Suryakumar Yadav, won the toss and decided to bat first. Surya said, "It looks like a good surface. We want to put runs on the board and put some pressure on the bowlers to defend a total."

Surya said that the atmosphere in the camp is very good and they are playing the kind of cricket I want. In every game, someone is stepping up, and that's good to see. We've made two changes, with Arshdeep coming in for Kuldeep and Washington coming in for Axar. Meanwhile, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards said, "We would have batted. It looks like a good wicket. For us, it's about finishing our campaign on a high note. We just want to give our best today."

Regarding the India vs. Netherlands T20 International head-to-head record, these two teams have faced each other only once. India won that match. Today, Team India will be looking to double this lead. Additionally, India has a chance to score its highest total in T20 International cricket on the flat Ahmedabad wicket.
