Big scam going on in the name of Union Bank, account may become empty, government agency warns

Scams can happen to anyone in any way, any day, at any time. There is no need for any time for scams in India. Scams are being done in thousands of ways in India. Loan scams, call forward scams, investment scams, don't know how many types of scams are happening in the country every day. Meanwhile, a new scam has come to light in the name of the bank. Information about this has been given by Cyber Dost who works under the Home Ministry.

Cyber Dost has said in one of his posts on X that a malware app is being installed in people's phones in the name of Union Bank. It starts with a WhatsApp account running in the name of Union Bank and then a web link is sent to the users which contains the fake app of Union Bank in the form of an APK file.

The name of the APK file is Union Rewards. Cyber Dost has said that this type of app has not been released like the bank. Such people are requested to stay away from such offers, WhatsApp numbers and apps. By installing this app on your phone, you can access your bank account and can also empty the account.

Earlier this week Cyber Dost had alerted people about two fake loan apps. Cyber Dost has said that take loans only from those apps which the Reserve Bank of India has approved. Cyber Dost has asked people to stay away from Loan Me and Global Credit.
