On 24 April his father went to the wedding. It is alleged that Brother Jitendra's cry was heard while his father was having food.
When the father ran and saw, the in-laws came out running. They were shouting loudly that run, run or else they will be trapped. Seeing Jitendra scorched by the fire, the father extinguished the fire. He was admitted to SMS Hospital by taxi in severe scorched condition.
