In the Indian market, Yamaha is highly recognised. particularly the Yamaha RX100, which is regarded as one of the brand's greatest motorcycles. It dominated millions of Indians' hearts and the Indian market. Its popularity among the populace has persisted even after it closed.

In March 1996, this manufacturer of two-wheelers ceased producing motorcycles. However, this motorbike is about to return to the Indian market.

Bike will come with a new engine:

  • As we have already told RX100 is preparing to return to India, which has increased the enthusiasm of bike lovers.
  • It is expected that it will be introduced with the RX nameplate, but its name may be different from RX100.
  • Apart from this, it has also come to light that this upcoming bike can be equipped with a powerful 225.9 cc engine, which will give a power output of 20.1 bhp and peak torque of 19.93 nm.

How will the design be:

  • Speaking of the design and appearance, the new model will incorporate some of the iconic styling cues from the original motorcycle because it is probably based on the RX100.
  • Its price (ex-showroom) is expected to range from Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh, according to the report.
  • As is well known, the Yamaha RX100 has a sleek and lightweight design.
  • In addition, its power contributed to its popularity. Thus, a motorcycle wishing to replicate those standards in a four-stroke model will need an engine that is at least 200cc in displacement.
