Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor to be launched by the festive season? Know about the possible design and features

Toyota can launch its new vehicle this festive season. The company has recently filed a trademark for the name Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, after which auto enthusiasts are very keen to know about this upcoming vehicle. If media reports are to be believed then this could be a rebadged edition of Maruti Franks. However, until this is confirmed by the company, we do not claim this.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser was to be discontinued in November 2022. There are also speculations that the Toyota Taisor is being brought in as a replacement for the Urban Cruiser. The compact crossover, the collaboration between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki, is expected to get distinct design elements on both the exterior and interior.

The Toyota micro SUV is expected to adopt the same powertrain as the Maruti Fronx. The Maruti Franks is available with two petrol engine options, a 1.2L naturally aspirated (produces 90bhp and 113Nm) and a 1.0L Boosterjet (produces 100bhp and 147Nm). Both manual and AMT gearboxes will be offered.
