Addressing medical researchers, doctors, and scientists at the inauguration of the next-generation facilities at CIIMS, he said, India was far ahead in science and other fields before the invasion. After this, the country went backward a little due to slavery and other reasons.

India, which has the ability to accumulate knowledge on new aspects and share it with the world, has been making great progress for the last 20 years. The country has achieved very good momentum. The world is learning from us in many areas. When the people attending the event asked Bhagwat for help in getting research-friendly policies and funding from the government, Bhagwat told them that he would convey their demands to the concerned persons as the government also wants the country to progress.

He further said that today there are many innovators in the new generation. But I think that with the speed at which society is progressing and people working in the field of science are progressing, it is becoming a little difficult for the government and administration to work at that pace. The government will have to encourage them and make policies for them. It is taking some time.

Bhagwat said, I want to tell you with a guarantee that very soon a time will come in India when there will be no complaints like this. All aspects will soon be on the right track as we are moving in the right direction. All these things will be corrected in a very short time.
