Fresh Controversy Hits David Warner Amid BBL Captaincy Questions
David Warner Drunk Driving Case: Australian cricket legend David Warner is embroiled in a drink-and-drive case. His lawyer has now broken his silence on the incident in Sydney. Learn how one foolish mistake has put Warner's captaincy and reputation at stake.

Australia's renowned cricket player David Warner seems to be facing problems away from the game. On 5 April, he was arrested on charges of drink driving in Sydney. He had twice the required amount of alcohol in his blood. His lawyer’s statement regarding the case came out a month later and shocked everybody.
Bobby Hill, Warner’s lawyer, gave statements during the case stating that the player had made a very bad decision when he chose to drink and drive.
Warner is said to have drunk three glasses of wine while he was visiting a friend’s house. He did not decide to take a cab but preferred to drive himself instead. Surprisingly, he was stopped by police just 11 minutes after his last drink.
