International Cricket Council Rankings: India Retains No.1 Spot for Second Year
Team India Annual T20 Ranking, ICC Yearly Ranking Update: The ICC released the annual rankings on Tuesday, with the three-time world champion Indian team retaining its first position.
The ICC announced the annual ranking for the mens cricket teams on Tuesday. India maintained their top position for the second consecutive year. India is the only team that has won two T20 World Cups. The Indian men's team, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, won their third championship after defeating New Zealand in the finals of the T20 World Cup 2026.
This ranking also considers the performance of teams over the year. It is based on the outcomes of games played from May 2025 to April 2026. It considers half the rating of performance in the last two years.
India has the highest rating in this ranking, ranking first with 275 ratings. England, after playing 34 matches, is in second place with 262 ratings. Australia is in third and New Zealand in fourth.
