Vaibhav Suryavanshi Set for India Debut? Ian Bishop Backs Teen Sensation

The 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has done extremely well in IPL 2026, and there is a lot of excitement among fans as well as past cricketers who believe that Suryavanshi's inclusion in the Indian side would help him gain valuable top-level cricketing experience. It has been reported that the debut of Suryavanshi in Indian cricketing ranks would come in the two-match T20 International series against Ireland that India will play in June. Meanwhile, Ian Bishop has selected a T20 International squad that includes Suryavanshi as one of the three opening batsmen.

Bishop further added, "I'm looking at Shreyas Iyer in the middle order. Rajat Patidar is another player who can make an impact, and there's also Devdutt Padikkal, who has performed well.
