Redmi 15C Expected to Launch in India by Month-End; Variant Still Unconfirmed
Redmi is preparing to launch its Redmi Note 15 series in India soon. Following their launch in China, the India launch timeline for these smartphones has now been revealed. According to a tipster, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Note 15 Pro could launch in India in December, with sales expected to begin in January 2026. Similarly, the Redmi 15C launch timeline has also been leaked.
The Redmi Note 15 series hit the Chinese markets earlier this year and is likely to hit the Indian shores shortly. Now, a tipster has revealed the launch timeline for the handsets. The lineup, expected to comprise the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Note 15 Pro, may arrive in December in India. The Redmi 15C launch timeline also seems to have been revealed.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi Note 15 series will arrive in India in December. The first sale of the upcoming handsets is said to start on January 9, 2026.
This timeline fits with the same tipster's earlier claim, which had suggested that Redmi is planning to bring the Note 15 series to India, but not before January 2026.

According to previous reports, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Redmi Note 15 Pro are expected to be priced similarly to their predecessors. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G started at ₹29,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G was priced at ₹23,999 for the same configuration. Regarding specifications, the cameras on the handsets are reportedly expected to be slightly different from their Chinese counterparts.
The tipster also revealed the Redmi 15C's launch timeline in India. This phone may launch in India by the end of this month. This handset was launched in China in September. However, the tipster did not specify whether the 4G or 5G variant will be available in India, as both are available in global markets and have different specifications.
The Redmi 15C 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, while the Redmi 15C 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset. Both models come with IP64 dust and water resistance rating. Both the Redmi 15C 4G and 5G variants come with a 6,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging.
