RBI Note Exchange Rule: Only today's time to exchange Rs 2,000 notes, will you be able to deposit the notes in October?
2000 notes exchange or deposit deadline: The last date to exchange Rs 2000 notes is today. The Reserve Bank of India had decided in May that the Rs 2000 note would be withdrawn from circulation. The last date for submission of notes has been fixed as 30 September 2023. Can notes be deposited even after 30 September 2023 or not?

The last period for exchanging or depositing Rs 2,000 notes is only today. If you also have a note of Rs 2,000, then you should immediately go to the bank and deposit that note.
Rs 2,000 notes will remain valid from tomorrow. This means that you will not be able to use this note. RBI has not withdrawn the legal tender condition. Along with this, the bank has also not extended the date of note exchange and deposit.
According to the update issued by RBI, so far 93 percent of the Rs 2,000 notes in the circular have been returned. This means that most of the notes are back in circular form. In such a situation, there is little possibility of extending this deadline.
