Rajasthan Weather News: There is no forecast of rain in the eastern and western regions of Rajasthan for the next few days. The Meteorological Department says that after August 15, heavy rains may occur in Udaipur and Kota divisions.

The period of heavy monsoon rains in Rajasthan now appears to be ending. Rain activity in the state has decreased since early August. At the same time, the Meteorological Department indicates there is no rain warning for the next 3-4 days. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, light to moderate rainfall could occur in some parts of Rajasthan over the next week. The department states that after August 14, active eastern winds from the Bay of Bengal will likely increase rain activity, especially in western Rajasthan from August 15 and eastern Rajasthan from August 16. During this time, some areas in Kota and Udaipur divisions may experience heavy rains.

In the first phase of the monsoon in Rajasthan, about 90 percent more rainfall than normal was recorded. Subsequently, rainfall decreased. The average monsoon rainfall in Rajasthan is 424.71 mm, but so far, only 410.92 mm has fallen. Regarding the condition of dams, 271 small and medium dams are now completely filled. Of the 23 large dams, 8 are already overflowing. The highest rainfall has occurred in Baran district, with 1541 mm recorded since June 1. The highest one-day rainfall this season was in Bassi, Chittorgarh, where 320 mm fell in a single day.
