This affordable hatchback has been ruling the hearts of people for more than 20 years now. Last year, the automaker updated Alto according to the people, currently the automaker is selling Alto K10 in the Indian market.
Alto was first launched in the year 2000 by the automaker and it became India's number one selling car by 2004. The company believes that it is preferred due to its budget and features.
Currently, Alto is being sold as K10. Its price ranges between Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 5.96 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom. It is offered only with a 1.0-liter Dualjet petrol engine that generates 66 Bhp and 89 Nm of torque. It comes with only a 5-speed manual gearbox. In this, you also get the CNG option. Which generates 56 Bhp and 82 Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki has also equipped the Alto with idle-engine start/stop technology.
The car gets a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, power window buttons, electrically adjustable mirrors, and manual air conditioning as features. The cabin of the car is based on the black theme. This theme can be seen on the dashboard, instrument cluster, and steering wheel of the car.
