India drops five spots to 85th place on the list most powerful passports; Know which country is at number one
Passport: Pakistan is once again among the countries with the weakest passport, which is at number 103. Visa-free travel is possible in only 33 countries with Pakistani passports. Whereas Iraq is at 104, Syria is at 105, Afghanistan is at 106 and Somalia's passport is at 102.
India has slipped five places to 85th position in the world's most powerful passport as compared to last year. Visa-free travel is possible in 57 countries of the world with an Indian passport, in a total of 227 countries, in which Singapore occupies the first position. Through this one can travel visa-free to 193 countries. This ranking of the index is based on how many countries can be visited visa-free with the passport of that country.
According to the report released by Henley & Partners on Thursday, Japan has the second most powerful passport. This allows visa-free travel in 193 countries. South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Finland are jointly in third place. Their passports allow visa-free entry to 192 countries. Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, and Netherlands are in fourth place, whose passports allow visa-free entry to 191 countries. Belgium, Portugal, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Britain are in fifth place with entry to 190 countries, and Australia and Greece are in sixth place. Canada, Malta, and Poland are in seventh place. The US passport is in ninth place, through which one can travel to 186 countries.
