Danger in the borewell of Jaisalmer; ONGC said- Do not take out the sunken truck and machine

It has also feared that in case the hole from which the water stream comes out of the borewell is disturbed, there may be water stream and gas leakage again. The farm owner Vikram Singh has also been informed about it and told not to carry out any activity for the next 3 months.
A water stream had burst on 28 December in the area of 27 BD Chak, Mohangarh area of Jaisalmer due to water flowed with pressure for continuously 2 days, after the investigation team ONGC reached the area on the date 31 December.

ONGC's Crisis Management Team has submitted a technical report on whether to remove or not the boring machine buried in the ground interring the child. The team saw the condition of the borewell, took stock of the spo,t and advised to maintain distance from the incident site. It is suspected that the leakage of water and gas with pressure might have stopped due to the truck and 22 tonnes heavy machine.
It is suspected that the water and soil may come out with pressure again after the machine is removed. For now, it has been asked not to touch it. Now further planning will be done regarding this. According to the ONGC report, the danger still remains. If the truck and machine stuck in the borewell are taken out, then there may be leakage of water and gas again.
In the Mohangarh area, the work of tubewell Uday was in progress in Vikram Singh's field when suddenly a stream of water burst out from inside the ground. After this, for two consecutive days, water was coming out with pressure from it. In no time, the field and the area around it got submerged. The boring machine and truck parked there got sunk into the ground. In this regard, an ONGC team had reached for an investigation on 31 December.
