Amazon launched a new cashback program before Amazon Prime Day sale; Know benefits

Amazon is going to start its Prime Day 2025 sale in India from July 12. In this sale, going on till July 14, huge discounts on numerous products will be available. Before the sale begins, the online website has offered some pre-sale discount offers to consumers. Besides this, Amazon has now introduced a cashback feature known as Rewards Gold, where users will receive up to 5% cashback on the payment made through Amazon Pay in certain categories.

Amazon announced in a press release that through Amazon Pay Rewards Gold, Prime members will earn 5% cashback on qualified transactions, and non-Prime customers will earn 3% cashback. This facility can be accessed after users have made 25 transactions with Amazon Pay for purchases or bill payments. After qualifying, users will get cashback on every transaction across different categories and merchants.

The company says that with the Rewards Gold program, customers can boost their savings ahead of Amazon India's Prime Day 2025 sale. 25 Amazon Pay transactions can include UPI payments, money transfers, QR code scans, bill payments, or shopping.

Under Amazon Pay's Rewards Gold program, Prime members will get 5% cashback on categories like grocery, clothing, travel, and food delivery. The cashback rewards can be redeemed on the Amazon website and over 55,000 partner merchant sites, including over 5,000 offline stores.

With Rewards Gold, 5% cashback offers will be available on apps like Ola, Domino's, and Zomato's District. Buyers can also get cashback on platforms like Microsoft Xbox and JioHotstar subscriptions. Qualified users can also enjoy discounts on select OnePlus products. The company said that Amazon users with an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card can avail additional benefits in the Rewards Gold program.
