This car can be bought in both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive. In this, you get the option of both petrol and diesel engines. In this SUV you get a 2.0 liter petrol engine. Which generates power of 150bhp and torque of 300Nm. In this car, you get a 1.5-liter diesel engine that generates 117bhp/300Nm output and a 2.0-liter diesel engine that generates 130bhp/320Nm output.

The waiting period for Thar also depends on its variant. The demand for the RWD diesel variant of Thar is also high, while for its petrol model, its variant period is slightly less at around 5 to 6 months. Whereas for the 4-wheel drive model, you will have to wait for 24 weeks i.e. 6 months.
