Rajasthan Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for six districts and a yellow alert for seven districts in Rajasthan. Strong thunderstorms, rain, hailstorms, and lightning are expected over the next three hours. People have been advised to remain vigilant.

Once again, the weather in Rajasthan has taken a turn. An alert has been sounded by the IMD Jaipur office in the morning of Tuesday. According to the IMD officials, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, hail and rain for the next three hours for Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Karauli, Dholpur and Deeg districts.
According to Meteorological Department officials, there is a possibility of heavy wind gusts up to 60 to 80 km/h. There are possibilities of dust storms and rainfall too. According to officials, there are chances of damage to big trees, electricity poles and structures. Kutcha houses and standing crops may also be damaged.
A yellow alert has been issued for Jalore, Sirohi, Udaipur, Kotputli-Behror, Khairthal-Tijara, Phalodi, and Jodhpur districts. Winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, thunderstorms, and light to moderate rain are expected in these areas.
Weather experts believe that due to the impact of this system, day and night temperatures may drop by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state. While temperatures reached 46 to 47 degrees Celsius in many districts last week, most cities are now experiencing below-normal temperatures. Phalodi recorded a high of 43.8 degrees Celsius on Monday, while temperatures in several cities, including Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Alwar, and Udaipur, ranged from 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.
