However, the heatwave will soon get relieved in Rajasthan owing to a change in weather conditions due to an active western disturbance, according to the forecast by the Meteorological department, which claims that such a spell will continue till June 3. A bulletin regarding thunderstorms, rainfall, and hailstorms has been issued for the districts in Rajasthan.

A powerful tornado and a dust storm occurred in Rajasthan, which caused a change in weather conditions. The winds were blowing at a speed of 102 kilometers per hour in Kishangarh Airport. Cities like Bikaner, Churu, Nagaur, Sikar, Hanumangarh, and Sriganganagar were experiencing day becoming night due to the darkness created by the dust storm.

The most effect of this weather change was on temperatures. The maximum temperature in many cities came down by 9 to 12 degrees Celsius in the past three days. The temperature came down from 48.2 degrees to 36.4 degrees in Sriganganagar, from 45.4 to 36.8 degrees in Jaipur, from 46 to 34.5 degrees in Alwar, and from 43.9 to 33.1 degrees Celsius in Hanumangarh.

More than 20 cities in the state recorded maximum temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius, providing significant relief to residents amid the heat of the month of Nautapa. However, heatwaves persisted in some areas of western Rajasthan, with Phalodi being the hottest city at 42.6 degrees Celsius.
