1,800cc Six-Cylinder Engine Becomes Centerpiece of BMW’s New Concept Bike
BMW Motorrad has unveiled the Vision K18 concept motorcycle, which hints at the future of high-performance touring bikes. It offers a unique blend of technology and style, with a 1,800cc inline-six engine and a Concorde-inspired design.

There have been reports about BMW Motorrad presenting a concept motorcycle known as the Vision K18. According to BMW Motorrad, it represents a "new level of performance, luxury and power." BMW Motorrad introduced the bike design at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este event held near Lake Como. Although BMW Motorrad claims it will not manufacture the Vision K18, the company claims that the concept suggests the future direction for high-performance touring motorcycles, which should provide their users with an emotional experience while riding.
According to the company, its design is not only meant to showcase future technology but also to be visually stunning and functionally precise. This bike offers a blend of technology and great style.
One of the main elements of the motorcycle's design is the bike's Eveline-Six engine with a displacement of 1,800 cc. In order to stress the aesthetic appeal of the bike's engine, BMW Motorrad deliberately placed it on a protruding base. The engine is set on a long, sculpted base, demonstrating that the engine is the true foundation of its aesthetics.
