Apple Showcases AI Accessibility Features Before Annual Developer Conference
Following Google, Apple has announced AI-powered accessibility features ahead of WWDC 2026. These features will make using iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Vision Pro easier for users with disabilities and special needs.

Recently, during Google I/O 2026, Google revealed several AI-related updates and products that will be available to consumers and businesses soon. Similarly, prior to its upcoming developer conference, WWDC, Apple introduced several AI-based accessibility features.
WWDC 2026 will take place between June 8 and June 12. Ahead of WWDC, Apple unveiled accessibility features for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro, which would assist people with disabilities in using their devices.
Apple claims that these new accessibility features use Apple Intelligence, the on-device AI technology of Apple, which focuses entirely on user privacy and personalization. This means that iPhone users will soon be able to access several new AI features. Let's learn more about them...
With the help of AI, Apple has enhanced its VoiceOver and Magnifier technology. With Image Explorer, users are able to see more in-depth descriptions about the photos, documents, bills, and any other objects visible on the screen. Users can even ask the AI for additional details about the images. The Magnifier now recognizes voice commands. Users will be able to control features like zoom or flashlight simply by speaking.
