Suzuki introduced affordable electric car at Japan Mobility Show 2023, will give 230 KM range on single charge

Suzuki has showcased its new eWX concept inside the ongoing Japan Motor Show 2023 in Tokyo. The manufacturer says that the eWX Concept is a mini wagon EV, which will be close to people's daily life.

So far, Suzuki has only revealed the dimensions and driving range of the eWX. Apart from this, the carmaker has also showcased the new generation Swift concept, an updated version of the eVX, and the Spacia concept. Let us know about eWX.

In the concept images, the EV is dressed in a dual-tone color scheme of dark and light grey. There are neon green accents on the front bumper, alloy wheels, and window frames. There are also C-shaped LED daytime running lamps at the front and a bright Suzuki logo.

Suzuki eWX will have a driving range of up to 230 km on a single charge. Therefore, there is a better chance that Suzuki will use a single electric motor, powering either the front or rear wheels. Its length is 3,395 mm, width is 1,475 mm and height is 1,620 mm.

According to Suzuki, this concept model is a crossover of the company's unique, fun, and practical mini wagon and future EV. It conveys a friend-like presence, letting people experience the EV's daily life with its clean and simple body structure, friendly character, and a small cabin.

Measuring less than 3.4 meters, the eWX is even smaller than the S-Presso on sale in the Indian market. It seems Suzuki wants to target kei car buyers in Japan with the eWX, who are now looking to shift to an electric vehicle. The tall boy design means that there should be enough space for the occupants.
