Manpreet Singh challenges Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru to fitness battle
Manpreet Singh Hockey on Virat Kohli: Indian hockey team star Manpreet Singh has issued an open challenge to Virat Kohli and the entire RCB team for fitness and a Yo-Yo test. Find out what Manpreet had to say about Kohli, who is making waves in the IPL.

The top Indian hockey player, Manpreet Singh, who has been to the Olympics four times, has challenged the star cricketer Virat Kohli along with the entire RCB team. The fitness level of the players is often talked about when comparing hockey with cricket. However, Manpreet has added an exciting twist to that debate.
In an interview, when Manpreet Singh was asked about Virat Kohli's fitness and a Yo-Yo test between them, he smiled and said that he was fully prepared for the challenge. Manpreet said, "Absolutely, we want to invite Virat Kohli and the entire RCB team to join us for a training session. We'll take to the field and compete fiercely against each other (Yo-Yo test)."
When the interviewer suggested that hockey players would far surpass cricketers in terms of fitness, Manpreet gave a very sensible answer. He respected cricket and said that the requirements of both sports are completely different.
Manpreet said, "Cricket is also a very difficult game. The ball comes at a speed of 150 km per hour. If you ask us hockey players to bat, it would be very difficult for us. Virat Kohli's game demands are different from ours. Eye contact, batting position, and reflexes play a huge role in cricket, while constant running and stamina are essential in hockey."
