Road collapse in Delhi, 1 killed: Truck full of bricks overturned in Mangolpuri

One person died due to a road collapse in Delhi, while 3 people are injured. The accident took place when a truck loaded with bricks overturned due to a road collapse in Mangolpuri. After the accident, the local people are raising questions about the PWD and the administration. They say that roads are always dug here and the work is not done properly. The cause of the accident is the negligence of the administration.
According to media reports, the accident happened on Sunday night when the truck was passing through B Block Mangolpuri. Suddenly the road caved in, causing the truck to overturn. Due to this, three people standing on the roadside came under his grip. As soon as the information was received, Delhi Police, Fire Department and other departments reached the spot and rescue operations were started.
The person killed in this accident has not been identified. Police say that he is around 60 years old. At the same time, the injured have been identified as Maya Devi (60) and Sukhbir Singh. Both live in B block. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Locals allege that the incident took place because the roads are dug up by the MCD and are not maintained properly. Mahalakshmi, a local resident, said that the truck driver was innocent, adding that the MCD and PWD should be blamed for the accident. They dig up the road and don't fill them properly.
On the other hand, the relatives of Maya, the woman injured in the accident, alleged that the MCD road had caved in years ago and was not filled properly to date. The truck driver fled after the accident, whom should we hold responsible for the accident? She is my mother-in-law and both her legs are fractured apart from other injuries. She had gone to say goodbye to a relative on the road.
