Rajasthan to See Temperature Drop, Yellow Alert Issued in Several Districts

According to the IMD, Jaipur, strong thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur in several districts in the afternoon for the next three to four days. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour during this period. Light rain may also occur in some places, leading to a drop in temperatures.

Although the rain and winds will reduce temperatures, people may experience humidity due to increased humidity in the atmosphere.

The Meteorological Department has clarified that the weather will not be completely stable in the first week of May. Heat wave-like conditions may persist in some areas, while other areas will experience cloudy conditions, strong winds, and light rain. Consequently, the weather will experience frequent fluctuations.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for several districts between May 2 and 4. A warning of thunder, lightning, and strong gusty winds has been issued for Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Kotputli-Behror, Sawai Madhopur, and Sikar.

The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions in view of the changing weather, especially to stay away from open spaces during thunderstorms and lightning.
