OPD-IPD of Ayurveda-Homeopathy will run in AIIMS: Union Minister said- We want to give the patient an option for treatment other than allopathy
Apart from allopathy, OPD and IPD of Ayurveda and Homeopathy will also be operated in All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) currently operating in the country and to be opened in future. The Union Ministry of AYUSH has started its preparations. Union Minister of State for AYUSH Dr. Munjpara Mahendra Bhai, who came to Jaipur today, said this while talking to the media.
Describing the outline of the 100-day program to be organized on World Yoga Day, the minister said that today the demand for Ayurveda treatment is increasing all over the world. In order to promote the treatment of Ayurveda and Homeopathy, the Modi Government at the Center created a separate ministry for this and gave a separate budget for it. The government has now decided that in all the hospitals run by the central government, AIIMS or other hospitals, along with allopathy, patients will also be given the option of getting treatment with Ayurveda and homeopathy. For this, we have decided to start OPD and IPD services of Ayurveda and Homeopathy in all AIIMS hospitals of the country soon.
The minister informed that on June 21, World Yoga Day, the government has decided to celebrate it as a 100-day programme. Under this, programs have also been organized in different states of the country. On the 100th day, the program was organized in Talkatora, Delhi and on the 75th day in Dibrugarh, Assam. The program to be held on the 50th day will be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, which will be held on May 5. This program will be held on the Bhavani Niketan campus, in which 20 thousand people will be made to do yoga together. All the MPs of Rajasthan and Union Ministers will be present at this.
On June 21, World Yoga Day will be celebrated in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will come and do yoga there. He told that with this 100 days program, we want to give this message to the whole world that how important Yoga is for a human being. Because the whole world is accepting that people stay healthy with yoga.
