This phone is expected to feature a larger 7,800mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is expected to arrive in India in mid-December at a starting price of around ₹43,000.

OnePlus 15R Set for India Launch With Massive 7,800mAh Battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite

OnePlus recently introduced its most powerful smartphone, the OnePlus 15, which replaced the OnePlus 13. It was the first smartphone in the country powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The smartphone sports a big battery of 7,300mAh and can record up to 8K resolution video. And do you know that the company is also soon bringing a mid-range version of this smartphone, the OnePlus 15R? Yes, its launch has been confirmed. The OnePlus 15R is going to be launched in India too.

Notably, it will pack in a bigger 7,800mAh battery compared to the OnePlus 15. This is reportedly a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6. It's also expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. 

In fact, during the recent launch of the OnePlus 15, the company teased the launch of the upcoming OnePlus 15R smartphone. Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that this phone could be launched in mid-December. Although the company hasn't revealed its price, it's said to be the same as the previous OnePlus 13R, meaning it could start around ₹43,000.
