Nyay Sankalp Padyatra: Rahul Gandhi's pad yatra in Mumbai today, Indi alliance will show strength through rally
Nyay Sankalp Padyatra: Rahul Gandhi on Saturday concluded his 63-day Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra by paying homage to Dr BR Ambedkar at his memorial Chaityabhoomi in central Mumbai and reading the Preamble of the Constitution. Rahul was also accompanied by his sister and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, will lead the Nyay Sankalp Padyatra this morning in Mumbai from Mani Bhawan to August Kranti Maidan. India, the opposition alliance, will demonstrate its strength with a rally. MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and numerous other leaders of the 'India' alliance are scheduled to attend the rally in Mumbai's Shivaji Park.
President of the Congress Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Thackeray, Leader of the NCP (SP) Sharad Pawar, General Secretary of the CPI (ML) Dipankar Bhattacharya, Leader of the National Conference Farooq Abdullah, Leader of the Aam Aadmi Party Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Chief Minister of Jharkhand Champai Soren. Kalpana Soren, the spouse of former chief minister Hemant Soren, will also attend the demonstration.

Earlier, addressing a public meeting in the Dharavi area, Rahul reiterated the Congress' promise of caste census and said that if his party returns to power, poor women will get Rs 1 lakh every year in their bank accounts.

Rahul Gandhi started the Nyay Yatra from Manipur on 14 January. Rahul reached Mumbai via 15 states, 110 districts, 100 Lok Sabha seats and 337 assembly constituencies of India. During the journey, Rahul Gandhi covered a distance of about 6700 km. However, this time he has travelled both by bus and on foot.
