Karnataka CM says, he won't resign on the basis of allegations by the opposition

It was clarified by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday that his resignation from his post will not be given on the basis of 'false allegations' of the opposition. It was said by him that the true situation will be presented before the people of the state.

After the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment case, meetings of Dalit and Scheduled Tribe leaders are being held inside the Congress party. When reporters asked him why these activities were taking place, it was replied by Siddaramaiah that unnecessary speculations were being made by people.
"Discussions will be held by ministers, but should speculation be made? When Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge is met by Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi, speculation is made by people. Following the order of the special court, an ECIR was filed by the Lokayukta police against Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvati, and others on September 27. The order from the special court was issued at a time when the sanction of investigation by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot against Siddaramaiah was upheld by the High Court.
An ECIR has also been filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Siddaramaiah for alleged irregularities in the allotment of 14 plots. On Tuesday, a decision was made by MUDA to take back 14 plots that were allotted to Siddaramaiah's wife.
