It's worth noting that flight operations at Jaipur Airport were also disrupted on Thursday. Last-minute cancellations of three Indigo Airlines and Air India flights caused inconvenience to numerous passengers and created chaos at the airport. Indigo Airlines flight 6E-7742, scheduled to depart from Jaipur for Chandigarh at 5:50 am, was initially delayed by approximately two and a half hours. The airline subsequently canceled the flight, citing operational reasons. According to airline sources, this decision was made due to the unavailability of aircraft.
Air India flight AI-1767, scheduled to arrive in Jaipur from Delhi at 7:10 am, was also canceled at the last minute. Additionally, flight AI-1834, scheduled to depart from Jaipur at the last minute, was also canceled at the last minute. Sources within Air India say the flight from Delhi was unable to take off due to operational reasons, while the flight from Jaipur to Delhi was cancelled due to a shortage of aircraft. Passengers complained that they received last-minute cancellations from the airlines, disrupting their entire travel plans. Some passengers even demanded action against the airlines. Although both airlines have promised to provide affected passengers with alternative flights and refunds, the repeated last-minute cancellations are increasing passenger problems at Jaipur Airport.
