However, as the intensity of the Western Disturbance weakens in the state, heatwave conditions have intensified once again. The Meteorological Department has forecast further temperature increases across many regions in the state in the coming days, and heatwave conditions are expected to remain severe in western Rajasthan.

As of Saturday, a heatwave warning has been declared for Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Barmer. A yellow alert for thundershowers with light rain was issued for regions near Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, and Alwar.

Heatwave conditions were experienced in several districts of western Rajasthan in the past 24 hours. Phalodi experienced the maximum temperature at 44.8°C. Barmer recorded 44.6°C while Jaisalmer recorded 44°C. The Meteorological Department predicts that temperatures may rise further over the next two to three days, reaching close to 45 degrees Celsius in some areas.
