JSW-MG Records Massive Growth in India’s Electric Vehicle Market
MG EV Sales: The electric car market in India has grown rapidly. JSW-MG Motor has become one of the top companies thanks to its impressive sales and a range of budget and luxury models.
The market for electric vehicles in India is witnessing rapid developments. There has been an increased number of electric vehicles being adopted by individuals. MG Motor India has become a major participant in this industry. There has been an increase in the number of sales by the company's electric cars. Notably, MG Motor India was able to withstand competition despite other firms entering the market.
In calendar year 2024, the firm JSW-MG sold 28,882 units of its products. It sold its ZS EV, Comet, and Windsor models. Noteworthy was the success that came with the Windsor model in September 2024. In 2025, JSW-MG sold 61,171 units of its product, increasing sales by 111% from the preceding year.
These 2025 figures also included vehicles under the MG Select brand, with over 1,500 units of the M9 and Cyberster sold. Both models were launched in July 2025.
