JBL Grip Bluetooth Speaker Debuts in India with 12-Hour Battery and IP68 Rating
JBL has launched the JBL Grip ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker in India, equipped with AI features like AI Sound Boost and Auracast.
JBL has launched the JBL Grip ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker in India with AI Sound Boost and Auracast. The speaker can last up to 12 hours on a single charge and delivers 16W of sound. The speaker is IP68 rated and comes with ambient lighting support.
The JBL Grip is priced at ₹11,999. The speaker is available in black, white, purple, red, blue, and camo colors and can be purchased from the major online platforms.
According to JBL, the Grip speaker delivers 16W of sound. The speaker comes with AI Sound Boost technology, which analyzes music in real-time and adjusts it for high volume and minimizes speaker distortion.

For connectivity, the JBL Grip speaker features Bluetooth 5.4, which offers A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles. Using the JBL Portable, users can control the speaker's ambient light and speaker settings. As mentioned, this speaker also comes with Auracast support, allowing users to pair two speakers and enable stereo sound. Furthermore, users can connect multiple speakers using this feature.
The company claims the JBL Grip speaker offers 12 hours of playback, with Playtime Boost providing an additional 2 hours of backup. It is powered by a 10.01Wh Li-ion battery. IP68 rating is supported in JBL Grip.
