Prototypes of the M5 sedan and M5 Touring wagon have been spotted, and BMW has confirmed that testing is nearly complete. This indicates that sales will most certainly begin this year, with the new M5 expected to arrive in the United States in 2025.

BMW has announced that the M5 has completed testing and will be available at dealerships soon. So we expect the new M5 to arrive in India by the end of this year.

The new 2024 BMW M5 will be the only variant in the company's 5-Series family to be powered by a V-8 engine. It is expected to be paired with an electric motor integrated with the transmission. In this way, it can come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This setup provides 644 hp of power in the BMW XM.
