BMW has launched the XM Label in India. It is the most powerful car made by BMW's M division. Only 500 units of it have been made globally. At the same time, only one unit of it will be sold, which will be available in India as a CBU. BMW XM Label is available in special paintwork BMW Frozen Carbon Black Metallic. It was introduced globally as XM Label Red last year. Now it has been launched in India as an XM Label. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine develops 748hp and 1,000Nm of peak torque. It has an electric motor that contributes up to 197 bhp and 279 Nm torque.

BMW claims this car sprints from 0 to 100kph in 3.8 seconds. The motor is connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all wheels of the car via the M xDrive all-wheel drive system.

Coming to the design of the XM Label, it sports a few elements, which include a kidney grille surround, rear diffusor insert, model badge, window frame surround, and shoulder line and wheel insert. The car is in a Frozen Carbon Black Metallic shade. It sports 22-inch M light alloy wheels.

Talking about the interior of the car, it has dual-tone black and red seats in an all-black cabin. It has contrasting red stitching and inserts at various places. Along with this, features like a 14.9-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital driver display, a head-up display, a dedicated boost mode, Bowers and Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System with 20 speakers and 1,475-watt amplifier, six airbags, active roll stabilization, dynamic brake control have been provided.

The XM label has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.15 crore. This is Rs 55 lakh more than the standard XM. Its price is Rs 2.60 crore. In India, the XM label will go up against luxury performance SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus, Audi RSQ8 and the Aston Martin DBX.
