After the high record of the stock market, the Indian currency rose, the rupee increased so much against the dollar

The rupee is showing strength against the dollar in Thursday's trading session. Today the rupee has recovered 8 paise and is trading at 83.26 in early trade. The rise in the Indian rupee is being attributed to the rise in the stock market. The stock market closed at a record high yesterday. Even today the stock market is open at a new record.

News agency PTI reported that Forex traders said that the Indian currency strengthened due to large-scale equity buying by foreign institutional investors (FIIs). However, volatility in crude oil prices capped sharp gains in the Indian currency.

The dollar index, which shows the strength of the US currency against major currencies of the world, remains at 100.48 with a decline of 0.17 per cent. Crude oil is again seeing a rise today and it is down 0.08 per cent at $ 79.41 per barrel.
