15 people drowned during Ganesh immersion: 7 people drowned in Haryana, 8 died in different incidents in UP

Major accidents took place at 5 places during Ganpati immersion in Haryana and UP. Eight people have washed away with the idol of Ganesh Ji in the Jhagroli canal in Mahendragarh, Haryana, out of which 4 died. At the same time, 2 died in the Yamuna river in Sonipat, and 2 are still missing. Rescue operation is still going on in Mahendragarh, Haryana.
On the other hand, 8 people have also died in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. 4 children drowned in Sant Kabir Nagar. All four were brothers and sisters. All the bodies have been taken out. At the same time, in Lalitpur and Unnao, two people each died due to drowning during immersion.
Two accidents took place during Ganpati immersion in Mahendragarh and Sonipat, Haryana. Nine people who went to immerse the idol of Ganesha in the canal near village Jhagadoli located on Kanina-Rewari road were washed away by the strong current of water. Eight people were pulled out of the canal late in the night. Of these, 4 died. The condition of the other 4 is serious. Similarly, 3 died due to drowning at Yamuna Ghat in Sonepat.
The deceased have been identified as Tinku, Akash, Nitin and Nikunj in Mahendragarh. All of them are said to be 18 to 23 years old. Manoj, Deepak, Sunil, and Sanjay have been referred to in critical condition.
Mahendragarh DC Dr. JK Abheer has claimed that without permission, immersion was being done in the Jhagdoli canal. DC has confirmed the death of 4 people. Also told that rescue is going on in the canal now. 8 people were evacuated.
DC told that the idol of Ganpati was 8 feet. Like people streamed it. Due to the strong current, 9 people were washed away in the water along with the statue. The people present on the spot took out 3 people. NDRI personnel played an important role in the rescue operation. He was going to Rewari to pick up his child. He pulled 3 people out of the canal.
There was a stir in the area after the information of people flowed into the canal. Hundreds of people gathered at the government hospital in Mahendragarh. Former Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma reached the spot. At present, the water of the canal has been stopped.
Sundar Sanwari resident Sunil (45), his son Karthik (13) and nephew Deepak (20) drowned during the immersion of the idol of Ganpati at Mimarpur Ghat of Yamuna river in Haryana's Sonipat. The bodies of Sunil and his nephew Deepak were recovered late in the night. The search for Sunil's son Karthik is on.
At the same time, Sumit (22) of Rehra Basti on the Bega Ghat of Yamuna drowned in the strong current. He along with six companions had gone inside the Yamuna for the idol immersion. Six of his companions were taken out of the Yamuna. Only his body could be recovered.
Eight people died in different accidents during Ganpati immersion in UP on Friday evening. The biggest accident happened in the Ami river of Sant Kabir Nagar. Here four children of the same family have died due to drowning. These include three sisters and one brother.
Actually, when the brother landed in the river, all three sisters also got down in the river. Suddenly a child's leg went into deep water. One by one the four children drowned in the river in an attempt to save him. 2-2 have also lost their lives in Unnao and Lalitpur.
