WhatsApp will soon get a new feature to add your social media accounts to your profile

There is a big update coming for the users of WhatsApp. They will no longer need to share their social media profiles separately. A new feature is being added in WhatsApp by which users will be able to connect social media profiles like Instagram and Facebook with their profile. This feature is currently available for beta users and will be available for all users in the near future.

The user will now have to add his social media handle to his profile name on WhatsApp, and then the link will become visible in the profile itself. Only the link option of Instagram profiles has been made available at present but in the near future, it will also have the provision of linking Facebook and other social media profiles as well. The linked profile will be visible on the screen where you see information about a conversation.

WhatsApp is also giving the option of privacy settings in this feature. Users will be able to decide with whom they want to share their social media profile and from which contacts they want to hide it. If desired, it can also be kept completely private. This feature will be completely optional. That is, users can use it or leave it if they want.

The special thing is that any user can add any person's social media handle to his profile, but this will not be any kind of authenticity proof. Now it remains to be seen when WhatsApp launches this feature for all users.
