'We call it a tamasha', former India coach's blunt reply on Saudi's statement

There was a lot of ruckus at the last moment on the third day of the third Test match being played between India and England at Lord's. Jack Crowley was losing time, and because of this Team India captain Shubman Gill became furious. The remaining players of Team India were furious with this as well. After the play was over on the day, England bowling coach Tim Southee scolded Gill. Now the ex-coach of India has reflected in the mirror at Saudi.

Both India and England have scored 387 runs in their first innings. India's first innings was over when there were two overs left for the third day's play to end. After this, England came to bat, and Crawley started wasting time. A ball from Jasprit Bumrah hit his hand lightly, and he called the physio. Seeing this, the players of Team India got angry. Crawley just showed his hand to the physio and sent him back.

Before the start of the fourth day's play, former India coach Shastri criticized Saudi's statement in which he said that he did not understand what the Indian players were complaining about. On this, Shastri said, "If I was in Team India, I would have done all this. We call it a tamasha. All these things are approved. You want all this. You cannot just go home saying good morning and good evening. A little debate goes on, just don't cross the line."

After the day's play was over, Saudi said in the press conference, "It is great to see both the teams getting excited like this. I don't know what he was complaining about.
