Volkswagen Golf GTI will be launched on May 26; Know about the features and price range

One of the leading German automakers, Volkswagen, makes cars available for sale in India in many segments. Volkswagen Golf GTI will soon be launched as a new car by the manufacturer. Volkswagen is going to release the Golf GTI automobile on May 26th. This news is being reported in various media reports. The firm has released this automobile for sale in small quantities. Booking for it began from May 5, 2025, and after that, various people booked it and temporarily halted its booking by the firm.

Volkswagen Golf GTI is set to have a two-liter TSI engine. The vehicle will reach a 0-100 kilometers speed in just 5.9 seconds with this engine. The vehicle will be equipped with 265 horsepower and 370 Newton meter torque through a two-liter engine. In addition to this, it will be equipped with a 7-speed DSG transmission.

Numerous excellent features will be included in the Volkswagen Golf GTI. It will support 12.9 inch infotainment system and 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, seven speaker audio system, wireless charger, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, three zone climate control system, rear air con vents, keyless go and push button start/stop, GTI badges, all four wheels with disc brakes, 18 alloy wheels and 45 liters petrol tank capacity.

The new car will be made very safe. Along with this, safety features like seven airbags, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist, brake assist, electronic front differential lock, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, front assist, rear view camera will be provided.

The exact price will be known only at the time of launch. The manufacturer will bring it to India as CBU. In such a situation, the possible ex-showroom price can be around 50 to 60 lakh rupees. It will compete with cars like the Mini Cooper.
