The OTT platform is streaming Shahid Kapoor's Bloody Daddy for free. However, continuous ads are seen in the middle of the film. At the same time, now filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has given his reaction regarding Bloody Daddy.
Vivek Agnihotri has shared an advertisement from the newspaper Bloody Daddy on his official Twitter handle. Along with this, questions were raised on the free streaming of the film. He said, "Why is anyone showing a 200 crore film for free? What kind of crazy business model is this? The bad news is that Bollywood is celebrating its own destruction."
Vivek Agnihotri's question on Shahid Kapoor's Bloody Daddy was answered by a Twitter user and he explained the math behind free streaming. The user said, "This is the business model of Jio. They give everything free for the first few months so that they can increase the user base. After that, they start charging money to retain the customer."
The user further said, "Soon the rest of the OTT platforms will be left with no other option and they will start charging some money from the customer so that they can generate revenue through ads. OTT is such a platform that is expected to be ad-free." this goes, but soon this too will become TV."
Bloody Daddy is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has earlier made superhit films like Sultan and Ek Tha Tiger. Talking about the star cast of the film, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Sanjay Kapoor are in important roles along with Shahid Kapoor.
