With this, he has made a big record in his name. In this inning, Head also hit a six-off Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin by stepping out of the crease. This was the seventh six of Head's Test career against Ashwin. This is the second most sixes hit by any batsman against an Indian bowler.

The great Ian Botham holds the record of hitting the most sixes by any batsman against an Indian bowler in Test cricket, with eight sixes against Dilip Doshi. Not only this, it was the eighth century of Head's Test career. This is his third century in day-night Test matches. He is only behind Marnus Labuschagne, who has scored a total of four centuries in day-night Test matches. Except for the above-mentioned two cricketers, Asad Shafiq and Dimuth Karunaratne have scored two centuries each.
