Toyota Innova Hycross Gets Those Features That Mahindra XUV700 Misses, Know How Similar Both Are

The new Toyota Innova Hycross has been introduced in the Indian market. Although its booking has already started. The company can also disclose its price in January 2023. MPV options include Kia Carens and Carnival.

While similar in size to Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700. The company has introduced the High Cross with many powerful features. In the seven-seater SUV space, the XUV 700 is the most tech-laden. They are similar in terms of dimensions and more importantly, both are monocoque three-row cars. However, the MPV also has many features as compared to the SUV.

Strong-hybrid powertrain at Toyota

Powering the Innova is a 2-liter petrol engine, which can be optioned with hybridization by adding electric motors and a smaller battery pack. The vehicle manufacturer claims a fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl. It also gets paddle shifters which are not present in Mahindra. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in under 10 seconds. The XUV700 is powered by turbo-petrol and diesel engines, which generate a lot of torque over the petrol-hybrid option of the Innova.

There is a six-seater option with automatic seats in the second row.

The bigger variant of the Innova Highcross has a six-seat configuration. While the XUV700 comes with two (five-seater) and three rows (seven-seater). The Innova is a three-row model. Officially, Toyota lists its third row as a three-seater bunch.

The company offers the Toyota Innova Highcross with a powered tailgate, which can be opened or closed with just the touch of a button. The XUV700, on the other hand, gets a conventional tailgate that needs to be opened manually or closed with hands. Only the latch can also be electronically released or locked.

Ventilated Front Seats

Let us tell you that the Highcross has ventilated front seats, which are available in the SUV 700. If you are looking for a comfortable car for yourself, then it is found in many cars in the range of Rs 10-15 lakh. But this is not in the Mahindra SUV 700 present in the Indian market.

Some common features are also available in both vehicles. There are some similarities in the features list. Both get full LED lighting, 18-inch alloys, a large touchscreen display with a premium sound system, connected car technology, a digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera, radar-based ADAS Huh.
