Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may be launched in July, may get company's own processor

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 can be expected to arrive this year. The phone can be released as the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The existing clamshell foldable comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The phone was previously stated to be launched this year with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. However, there were conflicting reports of using the in-house Exynos 2500 chip in the phone. Recently, there appeared an updated report appeared online. This report again supported the Exynos 2500 speculation.

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature an in-house Exynos 2500 chipset. The news has been provided by ChosunBiz in a report. Production of the phone can take place in May in mass numbers. 200,000 units can be produced by June. The phone can be launched in July, as per the report.

The report also states that Samsung has selected the Exynos chip instead of the Snapdragon due to price and production issues. The brand will make only 200,000 units of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable. Therefore, using an in-house chip is more feasible. It is also cost-effective. With this, Samsung can reduce the price of the phone. Or it can increase the profit margin.

Earlier a report claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will come with an Exynos 2500 processor globally. This was different from an earlier leak. Earlier leaks had said that the phone would have a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.

A cheaper and thinner alternative to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also come. It may get FE or Xe branding. It was earlier reported that it will come with an in-house Exynos 2400e processor.

Unlike the Galaxy Z Flip 7, there is no contradiction in the processor details of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 handset. All the leaks and reports so far say that the book-style foldable will get a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
