Now technology is not only confined to the laboratories but has entered the ring to give punches and kicks. At the world's first robotic tournament of boxers conducted in Hangzhou city of China, the world witnessed such a technological and entertainment combination that was only found in science fiction movies before.

This intense match was arranged by a company called Unitree, which conducted this tournament in its new factory complex. This tournament was titled 'Unitree Iron Fist King: Awakening', where four technologically advanced robots were faced in a confrontation.

Even though these robots were not fully automatic, they were being operated by men from a remote. The match was done in three rounds, each round of two minutes. It also maintained a point system in which 1 point was awarded for attacking with the hands and 3 points for kicking with the feet. 8 seconds were given to the robots to stand up if they fell down, otherwise a penalty was given. The most unique aspect of this match was that the robots were attacking based on the movements of one another and creating strategies in real time. This is the reason why the professionals are regarding it as a landmark in the field of robotics.

The height of each robot was about 1.3 meters and its weight was 35 kg. They could rotate up to 23 degrees and would stand up immediately after falling. That is, the match was not just a show, it was full of action. This match showed the world that robots are no longer just useful machines, but can become the new face of entertainment.
