Rajasthan News: Case registered against IIT Baba Abhay Singh after ruckus in hotel, drugs recovered
Rajasthan News: Shiprapath police station had received information that Baba is staying in a hotel in Riddhi-Siddhi and is creating a ruckus there. On which the police reached to take action. The police released Baba after giving strict instructions.
On Sunday, IIT Baba Abhay Singh was arrested by Jaipur Police. The police raided a hotel in the Riddhi-Siddhi area after tracing the location of Baba and arrested him. Shiprapath police station was informed that Baba is staying in a hotel in Riddhi-Siddhi and is creating a ruckus there.
A police team led by Shiprapath police station in-charge Rajendra Godara reached the spot and took Baba into custody. Baba had drugs on him during the search. However, the quantity of the seized drug was very limited, due to which it was a minor crime. The police let Baba go after giving strict warnings and returned to the police station.
After the police action, Abhay Singh came live on social media and threatened to commit suicide. After this incident, there was a stir among his supporters. Meanwhile, the police are busy investigating the matter.
