Rajasthan Cyber Crime Control Center to Be Set Up Amid Rising Digital Frauds
Rajasthan Budget 2026-27: Describing the Rajasthan Budget as all-encompassing and development-oriented, MP CP Joshi cited numerous announcements in the areas of infrastructure, education, health, farmers, women, and youth. He described it as an important step towards the overall development and self-reliance of the state.
Chittorgarh MP and former BJP state president CP Joshi said that the budget presented by the Rajasthan Government under the leadership of Finance Minister Diya Kumari is a welfare-oriented budget, a development-oriented budget, and a visionary budget. He said that it is an all-encompassing budget that takes into account all sections of the people in the true meaning of "Sarva Sukhay, Sarva Hitaay."
MP Joshi said that the budget announces the development of 42,000 kilometers of roads, the construction of 250 Atal Pragati Paths at a cost of 500 crore rupees, and the issuance of work orders worth 24,000 crore rupees for drinking water projects. Provisions have been made to issue 300,000 new tap connections in a year and connect 6,500 villages to tap water supply. New industrial parks have been established at a cost of ₹350 crore, electric potter's wheels will be provided to potters at a cost of ₹15 crore, and all divisional headquarters will be made signal-free. A provision of ₹31 crore has been made for the development of Kumbha Park in Chittorgarh.
He said that to empower youth, centers will be opened in each district by connecting with industry partners, and an AI startup program will be launched. New faculties will be opened in colleges, and interest-free loans/grants up to ₹10 lakh will be provided under the CM Self-Employment Scheme. The loan limit under the Lakhpati Didi Scheme has been increased from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh. Rural Women BPOs will be established at the district level for rural educated women. 225 crore rupees have been announced to develop 7,500 Anganwadis into modern Nand Ghar (nuns) and to connect 17,895 Anganwadi centers with electricity for the first time.
Six new 220 kV, 13 132 kV, and 110 33 kV GSSs will be constructed in the state. Power monitoring will be done by using artificial intelligence. Vocational education will start in 500 schools from the next semester. Toilets will be constructed in schools that do not have toilets. More than 2,500 schools will be repaired and renovated, and 323 crore rupees will be spent to provide sports kits and magic boxes to schoolchildren. Rani Lakshmibai centers will be established in 150 more colleges, providing self-defense training to 50,000 girl students. The "Raj Suraksha" scheme will be launched for critically ill patients and accident cases, providing free treatment even if documents are missing. Arrangements will be made for free transportation of dead bodies from hospitals to homes. Meritorious students of 10th and 12th grades will be given an e-voucher worth Rs. 20,000 for a tablet/laptop.

The MP stated that farmers will receive an additional bonus of Rs. 150 per quintal on the MSP of wheat. More than Rs. 11,300 crore will be spent on expanding irrigation facilities, and 3.5 million farmers will receive interest-free crop loans worth Rs. 25,000 crore. Five lakh livestock farmers will receive a grant of Rs. 700 crore for a milk bonus. Namo Van and Namo Nursery will be developed at every Panchayat level. The main entry points to major religious and historical towns like Pushkar, Khatu Shyam Ji, Deshnok, Pokhran, Diggi, and Mandawar will be developed as model roads. In light of the increasing incidents of digital arrests, the Rajasthan Cyber Crime Control Center will be opened.
CP Joshi stated that the budget presents a roadmap for the overall development of the state, focusing on farmers, youth, women, the poor, and the middle class. Special attention has been paid to strengthening road, electricity, drinking water, and urban-rural infrastructure. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Finance Minister Diya Kumari, he said that this budget will prove to be an important step towards making Rajasthan a developed, prosperous, and self-reliant state.
