Police brought Naresh Meena to Uniara on production warrant for questioning, tight security arrangements
Rajasthan News: Uniara police have brought independent candidate Naresh Meena, who was arrested after slapping SDM in the by-election, to Uniara on a production warrant, where he is being questioned.
Naresh Meena, famous for the slapping incident in Samravata of Tonk district is being questioned at Kotwali police station. He was brought to the police station by Uniara police under a production warrant from jail. Uniara CO Raghuveer Singh Bhati is questioning him in this case.
Police made tight security arrangements in front of the Kotwali police station. A medical examination of Naresh Meena was done late at night. During this time, he is also being interrogated with questions relating to four different cases registered at Nagarfort police station.
It is worth noting that Naresh Meena had slapped the Area Magistrate at the Samravata polling station of the Deoli-Uniyara assembly constituency. After the incident, a lot of uproar had been created in the village and the police arrested Naresh Meena on the very same day.
As per Amar Ujala sources, Naresh Meena can be presented in the holiday court of Deoli today. This presentation is likely to be done through video conferencing. Police are taking action against Naresh Meena in four different cases registered in Nagarfort police station. Police investigation is going on in this case and further legal action is also being taken.
